DEAN VILLAGE AND STOCKBRIDGE

How about discovering different parts of the town, now that you know the centre. Dean Village is a very picturesque part of town and home of Modern Art Gallery. Stockbridge is a little arty and full of charity shops. You will spend time individually, but we have suggestions for you as well.

Although Edinburgh offers a lot, and 4 days is not enough to explore it some of you may be desperate to go somewhere and see more of Scotland. Stirling and Stirling Castle may be a good choice if you are into castles. You may be eligible for a free ticket. Please contact Historic Scotland http://www.historic-scotland.gov.uk/  to enquire in advance.   If you prefer nature and the sea, North Berwick is a lovely seaside resort and makes for a very pleasant and relaxing visit on a nice day.
